CVB Mini Grant

The Muscatine Convention and Visitors Bureau offers "mini-grants" to groups/organizations that undertake qualifying projects that maximize the number of visitors to Muscatine County and ensure those visitors have a great time.

Who is eligible for the grant?

Requests from both for-profit and not-for-profit groups/organizations are welcomed. Political or religious project requests will not be considered.

Projects must aim to draw visitors to Muscatine County. You must be able to prove that your project will work to do so, by outlining your plan for marketing efforts in the application. Projects most likely to receive funding from us are events, although other projects are considered.

How much is rewarded?

Traditionally, grants are between $500 and $1,500.

Requests must contain all requested information, which includes the project’s budget and a narrative about the project.

Requests will be reviewed quarterly.  Deadlines for requests are Jan. 1, April 1, July 1 and Sept. 1.

As a grant recipient, you will be required to provide a final report, send digital photos, and submit receipts to prove your expenditures. Other requirements may be negotiated at the time of awarding. Grants are given as reimbursements.
